Con artists with a customer service specifically designed to keep you away from help

They duped me into taking part in their membership program without informing me of its monthly charges. Any attempt to get in contact with them in order to seek assistance via their customer service number was met with silence and unexpected hang ups. They basically crooks and while they deserve prison, I hope they go out of business.

Horrible online shopping experience

Worst online purchase I've ever done. Their customer service (if you care to call it that) is impossible to work with. They don't care about your purchase as long as they got your money. They keep giving me the run around and will refuse to help. Avoid any purchase from them if you can. I am still waiting for help to get my product delivered to me. What was supposed to be a birthday gift, might end up being a Christmas gift by the time they sort this out. That's if they care to get around to it.

Was sent wrong movie

I always ordered from FYE. I never had a problem til my recent order. I order Avengers Endgame but what I received was A pup named Scooby Doo. I spent $28 (price of movie, tax & shipping) for Endgame. I emailed & put my problem on their Facebook page with no answer. They don't even have a 800 number to call to talk to a REAL person. Not ordering from there anymore.

Used to Be A Great Video & Music Store

They used to be a great place to buy video and music. Their stores have been transformed into a place for selling nerd junk rather than a real video store. Video selection is now small and disappointing. Read my review on Google about their return policy problems. Stay away from buying the Backstage Pass. It is no longer worth the price with their minimal selection of titles. If you must get it, cancel it after the trial period.

Bad business

DO NOT... DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ON LINE FROM FYE. COM. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. THEY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO TALK TO A REAL PERSON IN CUSTOMER. I LOST 109 DOLLARS

FYE sells used DVDs as new .

FYE sells used DVDs as new. Every time I ever bought a DVD from FYE as new and opened it the disc was all scratched up or had hand prints on it . That should be a criminal offence .

Absolutely terrible. Do not shop here, you will regret it.

We are so spoiled by Amazon that when you buy things from other online stores, you expect the details to be honest, then you learn that stores like this have very little consideration for their customers and are not honest about the detail of your order or how long you will have to wait for it to arrive.

I ordered a really awesome Christmas present for somebody. The site said 2-3 days, but now it is Christmas eve, over a week later and they have not even started shipping it. So many online stores are scammers and I wish I looked at the reviews before shopping here. Oh well, too late now.

FYE is really a solid company.

Honestly I don't get the customer service complaints. I was able to cancel my backstage pass with someone whom shared the same language as me at 11 at night! They offered a discount and though I didn't have the funds at the time, it makes me want to come back to them when I do.
I've been to a multiple of there stores and though they are pricier the employees who work their genuinely work there because there passionate about the company. It really makes me want to pay the premium to support their business.

FYE HATES DISABLED VETERANS

FYE HATES DISABLED VETERANS. I am a disabled US Navy Veteran with breathing issues which prevent me from wearing a mask. Recently I was kicked out of the Port Charlotte mall fye store by their associate STEVE. I tried to explain my condition but Steve was bullying and rude in his comments. Steve demonstrated that fye has no respect for those of us who have sacrificed to provide their freedoms. An email from their corporate office to me showed this is a company wide attitude toward us.

BEWARE SELLER!!! FILE A CHARGEBACK WITH YOUR BANK. FYE hasnt shipped my order. It has been over a week. Emailed them immediately after ordering after i saw their negative reviews and they refused to cancel. CAUTION: ORDER TOTAL IN FINAL PAGE IS NOT THE FINAL TOTAL. THEY ARE THE ONLY SITE THAT ADDS TAX *AFTER* ORDER IS COMPLETED. HORRIBLE COMPANY SO BEWARE.

Online is really offline

This comment is a bit off because on one hand I love the brick and mortar store and the employees are great. However ordering on line is a joke. I placed an order on November 10 and paid extra to get it in 3 days. I still have not seen the order and the USPS has no tracking that it even made it to their Business mailing unit in that area of origin. The customer service rep. Keeps giving me the run around and refused to provide me with the tracking number for the carrier that was supposed to deliver the items to the USPS. Since it was for my wifes birthday I got tired of the excuses and ordered from Best Buy and guess what the Movie was delayed and they contacted me to let me know this. But it was only delayed by 2 days in which I have tracking it is in my city and will be delivered Tomorrow by 9 pm. The FYE customer service wouldn't even entertain the thought of sending me another copy and when the original showed up I would send it back to them. Terrible service and I DO NOT recommend ordering anything online with this company. Stop by and talk to the employees they will help you if they can though.

They had something supposedly available used for $31.27 that some third party vendor on ebay is overcharging $79.99 for new. A used Blu-ray is as good as new as long as the previous owner didn't intentionally scratch or gouge it with a screwdriver.

There is none. Only for their ripoff Backstage Pass customers who get ripped off $11.99/month to receive a 10% discount. None for deceived and ripped off regular ordering customers.
